Medicare Rebates

• Karen is an approved Medicare provider of clinical psychology services under Better Access to Mental Health Care intiative with referral from a general practitioner, psychiatrist or paediatrician. This can be for issues such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, adjustment difficulties etc. (See APS website for more details). Link to Medicare information sheet.
• Chronic Disease Management Plan with referral from GP
• Medicare rebates for psychological assessments with referral from a paediatrician or child psychiatrist under Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) and Better Start for Children with Disability Initiative (Better Start) from 0-13 years

 

Private Health Insurance Rebates

• Information regarding rebates for psychology should be sought directly from your health insurance company.
