Karen is dedicated to supporting children and families with additional needs, due to a variety of developmental and behavioural challenges. She has extensive clinical experience in the assessment of children with complex medical, developmental, behavioural and emotional difficulties. Karen has a strong interest in autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and has expertise working with children on the autism spectrum.  She is recognised as an approved ASD diagnostician by Autism SA.

Through her experience in both community and medical settings, working in a variety of multi-disciplinary teams, Karen has developed a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the range of services across health, disability, and education systems in order to assist children and families to access appropriate supports.

With advances in research and understanding of developmental differences, Karen seeks to continually update her knowledge and skill through a range of professional development activities.
